About

Ward Demolition acquired former Cheapo Blocks in early 2024, the company aligned with our core values and fit seamlessly into our supply chain. 100% of our Ward Blocks are made from would be waste concrete from Auckland construction sites, due to overfilled or cancelled concrete trucks. Instead of pouring extensive amounts of material into landfill, our dedicated team pour it into a variety of moulds to create our concrete blocks. These blocks have a variety of uses within the construction and agricultural industries. Storage, retaining, barriers, anchorage and flood protection, our multi purpose blocks have your business covered.

How Ward Blocks are made

Our Blocks are created from waste concrete cement from overfilled or cancelled concrete trucks, from Auckland Construction sites. This material is poured into our various concrete moulds to create our range of blocks. The cement is then vibed and smoothed by our experienced team. Once set, the block is de moulded and stored to further harden ready to be sold. Our Onehunga and Meremere yards hold an extensive quantity of stock on hand, ensuring we can meet the demand of large orders in a timely fashion.

What you can do with them

These Blocks have endless potential uses across the Construction, Industrial, Residential and Agricultural sectors. From farm pits, Retaining walls, flood protection, barriers and ram raid protection. Our Concrete Blocks are a cost effective solution to suit your needs.

Here’s a few examples of our blocks put to good use:

These Blocks provide both anchorage for the canopy and protection for vehicle strike on this construction site

Here they’re used to anchor scrimed temporary fencing, to ensure the wind didn’t blow it into a live switch yard.

Here our Benton blocks are being utilised to create a storage bunker, separating and storing aggregate

The walls of our Block building facility are built from 5 layers of full, half and corner blocks, topped with canopy.
